Being a long way away from the centre of our own "modelling world" yet wanting to build quality models and integrate technology into our models in the best possible way, we have learned that the hardest part of all is not "doing it" – it is most often simply finding the item, information, technique or supplier you need.
Finding special items or hard to get parts or components can be a real pain…. And there’s no easy way to do it! However, Need is a great teacher, so, as modellers, and in order to reduce our own frustration, we have established a network of contacts, experts, suppliers, non-public access industry specific search engines and professed "busybodies" that can often find that elusive item or impossible to source part (or its equivalent) without too much stress.
As part of the "added value" of being a DCCconcepts customer, we’d therefore like to offer you a little of our time free of charge. Tell us what you need, give us the elusive part number, or explain your problem and we’ll try to find an answer.
Once we’ve found what you wanted: we will email you and give U the data or the answers you were looking for – Often, we’ll also be able to source the item and forward it to you if you prefer… The choice will remain yours!
Why do we offer this service? – Well, sometimes our reward is added business, sometimes just added knowledge or the satisfaction in making life a bit easier for another modeller.
Either way – we enjoy helping, and we do it totally without expectation or obligation, so please do not hesitate to ask.
