We will not offer any locomotive for sale unless it has been tested on both DC and DCC.
All locomotives will be fitted with DCC Decoders. Some will also be either sound-equipped or have lighting enhancements, and these will be listed in the description. We always use decoders that also operate well on DC, so all DCC-fitted locomotives are usable on DC or DCC layouts.
Addressing of DCC locomotives: Unless the locomotive address has been set to a specific number that you have requested, the locomotive number will be set to the cab-side number. Where the locomotive has no visible cab-side number is available, we will leave the address at the DCC default address of 3.
Images Used: All images of locomotives and rolling stock are of the actual model that we are offering for sale unless otherwise noted. Please read our descriptions carefully as they will include information about additions, changes or other work that has been done to the model prior to offering it for sale.
Special Requests: We are happy to accept your special order for something not shown here, and will do our best to find and supply as soon as possible.
Changes and Modifications: we can also usually accommodate any reasonable request for additions, modifications or enhancements to the locomotives we are currently offering for sale.
Where you wish us to make changes to or modify a locomotive on offer, we will first need to complete the locomotive sale process with you. Special requests, additions and changes will be then processed and billed as separately.
